Teks Pidato Bahasa Inggris Tema Yogyakarta

           

Good morning my friends,,,

Today I’m going to tell you about little information of Yogyakarta.

           

Yogyakarta is a big city in central of Java ,really this city is not very big , but it is well known enough throughout  Indonesia  as a students city . There are many kinds of school in this city and almost other regions in Indonesia have students in there. They come to Yogyakarta to study at senior high school, junior high school, or University. The biggest University is Gadjah Mada. The name Gadjah Mada is taken from taken from the name of a great premier of Majapahit. A great kingdom in the past.

            Beside what have mentioned above, Yogyakarta is also famous for it’s history. This is one the heroic cities that had given a great kingdom a great share to the independence of Indonesia. Yogyakarta was once the capital city of the republic Indonesia, another name of Yogyakarta is a cultural city.

For  along time, Yogyakarta has been under  a  kingdom authority. The present king is Sri Sultan Hamengkubuwono X. The palace has now become one of tourist objects, both for domestic and foreign tourist.

            Physically the size of the city is five by five kilometers square and number of population is around half million. In certain part the population is so dense and in fact it has become the most density populated area in the world . The great majority of people live on trades and agriculture.

            The economic center of the city is Malioboro, here is shopping center of Yogyakarta. Many people come on there to buy what they needs. Every day, this region is crowded to visit by visitor.

One thing that should be noted is, in this area called big market . In the afternoon Malioboro is very busy where many people go shopping and young people take a walk along the street. All activity at he shopping center finished around nine o’clock.
